Biography
A band, then a studio,
then a solo career.
Sinan Durur founded the rock band Metrekare in 2016. The band's work was recorded at Metrekare Studio, which opened the same year; over time the studio became the professional music production reference for Türkiye and the surrounding region.
After a pause in the band's activities, Durur turned his focus to a solo career. Working as both composer and performer, he describes his work as "intimate and innovative" — a prolific profile that moves freely between modern interpretations of classic folk works and his own original compositions.
