Anadolu rock was born here — a line stretching to modern alternative, the live venues on Sakarya and Tunalı, the music clubs at ODTÜ and Hacettepe, the Anatolian conservatoire tradition. Folk is still alive here; young musicians play bağlama, cura, ney. It's also an academic city, so artists are theory-aware and detail-driven — briefs we receive tend to be technical, and we like that.

I'm an ODTÜ student making my first EP on a tight budget. Which package?
For a single, master only (2,500 TL) may suffice. For an EP (4-5 songs), combo gives album cohesion. With student documentation in the brief, we can discuss a genuine direction.
My recording has bağlama and vocals. Does Western mix logic apply?
Yes, but specify the bağlama aesthetic in the brief. We don't over-compress traditional instruments — we preserve their natural sustain.
Live recording from a Tunalı bar, low quality. Can it be saved?
Send a 2-3 instrument short sample for free assessment. If the mic chain is overall good, yes. If mic choice is wrong, we'll say so honestly.
As a rock band, drums are the weakest in our recording. Drum replacement?
Yes, we offer drum replacement. In the brief, specify reference drum sound (e.g. 'Foo Fighters Wasting Light' or 'modern alt rock').
Can I sit next to you in the studio while you mix?
No — our studio operates city-independently. We keep brief and revision turns detailed instead. Distant, written direction actually proves more objective.
What references work for Anadolu rock?
Original 70s-80s Anadolu rock has good character reference but master levels are too low by today's standards. Use partial references: 'vocal character of X, drum character of Y, modern master level'.
How long for a demo delivery?
Demo (rough mix) follows the standard package timeline. For urgent label submissions, mention in the brief — we sometimes accelerate if calendar permits.
Folk recording has breath and finger noises. Should we clean them?
A brief question. Breath/finger noises are part of folk's intimate character — we don't fully remove. Only uncomfortable peaks are reduced.
Any fake 'local discount' for working with someone from Ankara?
No. We're transparent: prices are fixed. Student documentation opens a genuine direction, not a campaign.
Can you add sound design (vinyl crackle, lo-fi effect) after mix?
Yes, if the sound design layer is requested in the brief, we add it as a parallel layer during mix. Cleaner than post-master.
